BAGSVAERD,c compiler for pic microcontroller Denmark (AP) _ Novo Nordisk A/S (NVO) on Friday reported fourth-quarter net income of $1.3 billion.

On a per-share basis, the Bagsvaerd, Denmark-based company said it had net income of 54 cents.

The drugmaker posted revenue of $4.55 billion in the period.

For the year, the company reported profit of $6.12 billion, or $2.52 per share. Revenue was reported as $17.72 billion.

Novo Nordisk shares have increased 2 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has declined 15 percent in the last 12 months.
